He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Fremstad and Bertha Fremstad (Fredrickson); his wife JoAnne Melby; his sisters, Rosalie Schye and Arlene Pederson; and his pet Sammi.
He is survived by: his daughters, Roslyn Kohlmeier (Robert), Jane Liddell (Randy), Renee Tryggestad (Glen) and Jill Nevsimal (Joe); his grandchildren, Rebecca Stellar, Jason Buros, Amanda Gearing (Jarred), Sara Tryggestad and Jesse Nevsimal; and his great grandchildren, Natalie, Eleanor Stellar, Grace and William Gearing. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
