He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold L. Knudson and A. Odrun Knudson (Eggen); his sisters, Kay and Ruth Ann Schmitt; and his cousins, Kathleen Knudson and Ron Larson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Chroninger; his daughter Sandra Noll (Ted); his grandchildren, Libby and Sam of Fox Point, WI; his son Curt Chroninger (Maryanne); his grandchild Cailey of Coon Valley; his son Christopher Chroninger (Briana); his grandchild MaryMae of La Crosse; his niece Kimberley Walsh (Wade); his great-nieces and great-nephews, James, Erica and Tori; and his friend Jeanne Fredrick (Eggen) of Viroqua.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Vang Lutheran Church in Jim's memory.
