She was predeceased by: her mother Rose; her husband Howard Volden; the father of her children Arnold Bakkestuen; her children, Ellie Jo, Elaine, Arvid, Jon and Kenneth; her grandchildren, Jonathan Bakkestuen, Frankie Oliver, Clayton Oliver, Michele Bakkestuen and Bobbie Jean Pierce; her great grandchild Marine Corporal Ryan Vue; her daughter-in-law Margaret Bakkestuen; her parent Palmer; and her siblings, Jerry, Clifford, Otis, Lester, Chester, Purdy, Archie, Irene Nelson and Marion Pfingsten.
She is survived by: her former husband Arnold Bakkestuen; her children, Mike, Gloria Brose (Alton), Lola Bakkestuen, Randy (Cindy) and Sheila Steele (Richard); her son-in-law Richard "Odie" Odemoe; and her grandchildren, Lori Pedretti, Amy Ellefson, Wade Brown, Kristi Rude, Justin Brown and Nick Brown. She is also survived by 86 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
