It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael E. Lyga of West Salem, Wisconsin, born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 24, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Katheryne Lyga and Paul Lyga; his son Joseph; and his sisters, Kate, Pat and Ellen.

He is survived by: his sons, Mike Jr. (Jac) and Andy (Heidi); his wife Peg; his brother Paul; his grandchildren, Cydney, Maria, Carlyle, Hayden, Clayton, Rylee and Camdyn; and his daughter Mary Czajka. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital or a memorial of your choice for the benefit of children.
