“Sending our deepest, most heartfelt condolences. John was a stellar hockey coach for our sons, his example one of integrity and dedication to always giving one’s best. I often substituted for John at Viroqua Elementary, and regarded him as a colleague and friend. I remember the love his students had for him, for his enthusiasm and ability to make his classes fun. He will be sorely missed by so many. Moira and Jeff Hastings”
