He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredric Schmidt and Delores Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Beth Schmidt; his children, Dawn Whitsett (Steve), Deanna Thomas (Brian), Darin Schmidt (Becky) and Ron Stankey (Amanda); and his sister Marti Owens (Randy). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and many other family and friends.
