We are sad to announce that on March 15, 2025, at the age of 85, Jerry F. Unser Sr. of West Salem, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Unser and Irene Unser (Delong); his parents-in-law, John and Esther Smith; his brothers-in-law, Jerry Baier and Larry Gruber; and his grandparents, Fred, Laura Delong, Charles and Nellie Unser.
He is survived by: his wife Carol L. Smith; his children, Jerry Unser Jr. (Joan) and Jill Unser (Thomas Palmateer); his grandchildren, Lauren Meuer (Keegan), Brandon Unser (Kaleigh), Joshua Sagler (Colleen), Justin Sagler (Sarah) and Jordan Sagler (Darian); his great grandchildren, Eastyn, Maddyn, Waylen Meuer, Callen Unser, Jackson and Wyatt Sagler; and his siblings, Craig Unser (Kris), Carol Baier, Rita Gruber and Sue Pickering (Gary). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the West Salem Berg-Hemker-Olson American Legion Post 51 (148 Leonard St S, West Salem, WI 54669).
