We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2024, at the age of 89, George R. Gorniak of West Salem, Wisconsin, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gorniak and Eleanor Gorniak (Woytonik); and his brother-in-law John Wehrenberg. He is survived by: his children, Lynda Mueggenborg (Stephen), Bob Gorniak (Tammi), Jim Gorniak (Dawn), Mike Gorniak (Sara) and Deb Elliott (Jeff); his wife Nancy Wehrenberg of Bangor, WI; his sister Karen DiOrio (John); his sister-in-law Sylvia Boma; and his grandchildren, Jaclyn Fruechte (Nick), Rachel Brooks (Wes), Brock Mueggenborg (Renee), Dana Gramarossa (Mike), Andy Gorniak (Lynette), Matt Gorniak, Kelsey Eyers (Ian), Tyler Gorniak, Jack Gorniak, Daysha Elsen (Lee), Krista Gorniak, Sierra Stumlin (Josh) and Jade Tunipseed (Parker). He is also survived by two nieces and a nephew.
