She was predeceased by: her husband Don; her brother John Ekhoff; her brothers-in-law, Arlyn Hein and Frank Nielsen; and her nephew Tim Ekhoff.
She is survived by: her children, Sara Mehling (Mike), Mark Dummer (Kim), Eric Dummer (Heidi), Gretchen Husby (Rick), Michael Dummer (Tara), Philip Dummer (Beth) and Laura Kasinger (Chuck). She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Darlene's honor.
