He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Faber; his wife Elma A. Faber; his parents-in-law, Walter and Vita Gerlach; his siblings, James Faber and Mary German; and his siblings-in-law, Melvin, John, Glenn, Edwin, Raymond, Eugene Gerlach, LaVern Klug, Edward German, Arthur Naumann, Sally, Doris, Jeanice Gerlach, Grace Naumann and Carol Faber.

He is survived by: his children, William Faber (Tammy), Jewel Ehlke (Donald) and Holly Steldt (Timothy); his grandchildren, Kelly Bennett (Greg), Shawn Faber (Trisha), Tammy Fabitz (Eric), Jamie Ehlke (Alexandra), Courtney Weiss (Nathaniel) and Ashley Rasch (Travis); his great grandchildren, Alicia, Katelyn Bennett, Kora, Kinsley Faber, Emery, Easton, Jax Fabitz, Aubrey, Quinlin, Emileo, Sofia Ehlke, Claire, Amelia Weiss, Addison and Levi Rasch; his siblings, Gerald Faber, Shirley Klug and June Naumann; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Gerlach and Sharon Gerlach.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church.
