He was predeceased by: his parents, Verlyn Nokes and Mary Nokes; his wife Min; his sister Mary Lynn Shepherd (Jack); his nephew John Shepherd; and his siblings-in-law, Leatrice Strupp (Edward), Betty Mollwitz (Richard), David (Vi), Clarence and Myles Engeleiter.
He is survived by: his nephew Jay Shepherd; and his sisters-in-law, Delores Fischer (late Joe Strupp) and Lou Ann Riley (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Allay Home Hospice or St. Jude's Children Hospital would be appreciated.
