We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Virginia Verthein of West Bend, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jr. Johnson and Genevieve Johnson; and her brothers, Vernon and Jeff Johnson. She is survived by: her son James Verthein (Lori); her grandson Nathan Verthein; her siblings, Michael Johnson (Bonny), Patti Lange (Dennis), Greg Johnson (Sherry), Roger Johnson (Shawne) and Nancy Roessler (Chuck); and her sister-in-law Millie Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Shalom Wildlife Center where she enjoyed going often or to Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk.
