It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvester H. Dettmann (West Bend, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Dettmann and Lorena Dettmann; his former wife Bernadette Dettmann; his son Michael Dettmann; his siblings, Adeline Bath, Wilbert Kutz, Irene Lauters, LaVern Bratz, Edward and Andrew Dettmann; his siblings-in-law, Paula Kutz, Harold Bath, Sylvester Lauters and Quincy Bratz; and his pet Princess.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Dettmann; his children, Wanda Timmons (Chris), Christine Uhlig, Tim Dettmann (Donna), Gary Dettman, Shawn Harris (Deni) and Jacqueline McFarland (Shawn); his grandchildren, Katelyn Stoltenberg (Mikal), Jack Roberts, Sarah Uhlig (Danny Dassow), Alayna, Olivia Dettmann, Jessica Barton (Dan), Maximus, Lucian Harris and Shelby Daley (Kaleb Schultz); his siblings, Amanda Lohse and Frank Kutz; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Kutz. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
