It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Edwin Wetzel of West Bend, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 20, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Wetzel and Elizabeth Wetzel; his wife Joyce E. (Loether); his son Daniel Wetzel; his granddaughter Misty; his great grandchildren, Julian and Trey; his parents-in-law, Richard and Julia Loether; his brother Paul Wetzel Jr. (Sam); and his son-in-law Larry Beyer.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Wetzel (Irene), Debra Wetzel, Julie Harris (Martin), Patricia Gurrola (Antonio), Howard Wetzel (Carol), Tony Wetzel (Wendy), Pam Beyer, Larry Wetzel (Lori), Dale Wetzel (Denise) and Carolyn Bonilla; and his daughter-in-law Peggy Wetzel. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren; 98 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Horizon Hospice.
