He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Schmidt and Katherine Schmidt; his sister Dorothy Lloyd; his grandson Danny Callaway; his great grandchild Rozalynn Mapes; and his nephew Robert Lloyd.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Jean Schmidt of Dunedin, FL, Dawn Giove (Dan) of West Bend, Laura Gruber (James) of Kewaskum and Loretta Lloyd (Steve) of West Bend; his grandchildren, Jamie, John, Sarah (Sam), Katie (Sam) and Jake; his great grandchildren, Dominic, Hailey, Tiger Lily and Elsie; and his close friends, Dennis Phillips and Cathy Riegert. He is also survived by nieces, a nephew other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the Schmidt Funeral Home of West Bend (629 Cedar St, West Bend, WI 53095). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
