He was predeceased by: his parents, Wenzel Slavik and Marie Slavik; his wife Joan Slavik of Mary's Immaculate Conception; his son Anthony Peter; his brother Raymond; his parents-in-law, Kilian and Gertrude Flasch; and his siblings-in-law, Clarisy Lennartz, Paula, Frank Oresnik, Roland, Marion Flasch, Robert, JanetFlasch, Adeline, Bill Flasch, Gregor, Grace Flasch, Rosie, Roman Barth, Laverne, Ken Schobel, Eileen, Joe Steger and Lloyd Mueller.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas and Linda Ortlieb (Samuel); his granddaughters, Samantha Marie Ortlieb (James) and Hannah Rose Ortlieb (Noah Guenterberg); and his sisters-in-law, Betty Mapes (Harold Jr) and Janice (Joe). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Washington County Humane Society.
