He was predeceased by: his parents, August Fechter and Helen Fechter; his siblings, Raymond Fechter (Arlene), Barbara Fechter, Leo Fechter, Martha Meyer (George), Ralph Fechter, Leroy Neu and James Griesmer; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Bernice Wollner; and his brother-in-law James Wollner.
He is survived by: his wife Martha M. Wollner; his children, Angela Schelinske (Dean), Tracy Gergetz (Steven), Jennifer Fechter and Gregory Fechter (Kelly); his grandchildren, Alyssa Schelinske, Kaylie Fiene (Matt), Nicholas, Adam (Micaela), Rachel, Ryan, Anna Gergetz and Mason Fechter; his great grandchild Liberty Gergetz; his sisters, Clara Neu and Dorothy Griesmer; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Fechter, Irene Fechter and Chris Wollner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and good friends.
