It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Blaeske of West Bend, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Blaeske and Erna Blaeske; his wife Joyce Hoide; his son Rick William Blaeske; his siblings, Betty Weiss (Andrew), William Blaeske (Marlene) and Robert Blaeske; and his sister-in-law Judy Schmidt.

He is survived by: his son Brett Blaeske of Saukville; and his sisters-in-law, Joan DeSchmidt (Warren) and Debora Vance. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

“We were sorry to hear about Dick's passing and the fact that I didn't keep in touch. All day today I just kept thinking about all the fun we had when we were younger and we all hung around a lot like a family does. I think about when Dick and I worked together at AC Spark plug and the goofy things we use to pull off, as well as all the drinking and fun parties we used to have. Dam, I miss those days when we were young and had the whole world ahead of us. Now here we are? We have memories - Ted”
