He is survived by: his daughters, Helen Kleponis (John), Michelle Scholz, Sandra Phan-Scholz (Jerry Barnette), Maria Flaherty and Monica Scholz-Sargent (Eric); his grandchildren, Nathan Kleponis (Ally Borel Couron), Nicole Kleponis, Danielle Scholz, Paul Mariani, Brittney Nguyen, Thomas Flaherty, Evangeline Flaherty and Flynn Sargent; his great grandchild Max Johnston; and his brother Ulrich Scholz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
