He is survived by: his wife Gayle Knutson; his children, Michael (Michelle) and Kristina Groth (Patrick); his grandsons, Nathan (Carly), Tyler (Katie), Justin (Angela) and Brandon (Sophia); his great grandchildren, Adeline, Jackson and Benson; his sisters, Mary Beth and Ann Marie; and his sisters-in-law, Nyla, Karen, Lynda, Mavis (Myron), Cyndi, Pam (Jeff) and Marlene.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Ours Saviors Lutheran Church or friends of Lac Lawrann Conservancy.
