It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry L. Sweetland of West Bend, Wisconsin, born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 18, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Sweetland and Lillian Sweetland; and his siblings, Beverly Olin Sweetland, David Sweetland (Beverly), Betty Jones (Bob), JoAnne Jonas (Bob), Sue Sweetland and Roger Sweetland (Jean).
He is survived by: his wife Lila Buche of John's Lutheran Church; his son Dion Sweetland (Laura); his granddaughter Alishia Ascher (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Whitney and Max Ascher; and his sister-in-law Geneva Sweetland. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial to St. John's Lutheran Church in West Bend, The Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, or Washington County Humane Society is appreciated.
