He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Fritsche and Erma Fritsche (Perner); his wife Margaret Godsell; his granddaughter Megan; his siblings, Fran, James, Joseph, Jerome, Thomas, Florence, Dorothy, Marianne, Cecelia, Barbara, Joan and Catherine; and his children, Michael Fritsche, Char Reilly (Brian), Patty Birenbaum, Ron Fritsche (Cindy), Janet Bell (Allan) and Karen Boudry. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
