She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bieri and Frieda Bieri; her son James Gumm; her brothers, Reinhold and Elmer Bieri; and her husband Clarence Gumm Jr. (Jerome Chapman).
She is survived by: her son Ron; her daughters-in-law, Nancy Gumm and Mary Yogerst Gumm; her grandchildren, Katie Gumm Xiong, Bee, Nick Gumm, Jess, Lisa Gumm Stowers, Rudy, Erica Gumm D'Amato and Steve; and her great grandchildren, Olivia of Cecelia, RJ, Sam, Anika Jada, Saraya, Everson, Arlo and Wally.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr, West Bend, WI 53095). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W Paradise Dr, West Bend, WI 53095).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Hedy Gumm Nursing Scholarship Fund (Donations can be made to Cedar Community with a memo stating Hedy Gumm Memorial—113 Cedar Ridge Dr. West Bend, WI. Attention: Philanthropy), or the American Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
