He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Klein and Lenora Klein; his wife Mildred "Millie" Faber; his son-in-law Allen Schickert; his granddaughter Jennifer Schickert; his siblings-in-law, Eileen Klein, Rosemary Giese (Ralph), Wayne Faber and Eugene Faber; and his parents-in-law, Wilmer and Nettie Faber.
He is survived by: his children, James Klein (Jerri) and Cindy Schickert; his grandsons, Jeremiah Klein, Jacob Klein and Michael Schickert; his brother Donald Klein; his sisters-in-law, Gloria Faber and Phyllis Faber; and his nephew Russel Faber. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
