He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Mayer (Miller) and Gilbert Mayer; his wife Annie; his children, Mark Mayer and Tracy Mayer; his siblings, Kathy Pierce and Gilbert Mayer, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Carol Mayer.
He is survived by: his close friend Mary Ellen; his children, Jamie Mayer (Colleen) and Gerrie Ann Tracey (Mark); his grandchildren, Mitchell Tracey (April), Alyssa White (Paul) and Jenna Turk (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Jade and Kenson Turk; his siblings, Sharon Fischer (Conrad), Judy Austin, Daniel Mayer, Thomas Mayer (Connie) and Mary Chesak (Bill); his girlfriend Mary Ellen Dodge; his partner's sons, Charles Dodge (Julie) and David Dodge (Linda); his sister Joyce Sipes (Ken); and also, Nate Dodge (Alyssa), Mary Elizabeth Dodge (Sam Hauser) and Sam Dodge (Emma). He is also survived by many other friends, neighbors, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
