Edward J. Hetebrueg Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2025, at the age of 87, Edward J. Hetebrueg of West Bend, Wisconsin passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward J. Hetebrueg to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hetebrueg and Lorene Hetebrueg; his wife Joan Laastch; his in-laws, Alfred, Veronica Dohrwardt (Elvira) and Joan; his siblings, Lucille Geidel (Merlin), Mary "Honey" Knoll (Keith), Ruth Hetebrueg and Robert Hetebrueg (Mercedes); and his sisters-in-law, Sandy Hetebrueg and Sylvia Fechter (August Jr).
He is survived by: his children, Eugene Hetebrueg (Brenda) of Allenton, Ellen Schaefer (Mark) and Eric Hetebrueg (Tracy) of West Bend; his grandchildren, Tyler Hetebrueg (Heidi), Melissa Roden (Rick), Mark E Schaefer (Emily), Andrew Hetebrueg (Trinity Jank) and Kaitlyn Hetebrueg; his great grandchildren, Phebe, Jimmi, Raymond Hetebrueg, Kendra, Brooke, Rhen Roden, Waylon Hetebrueg and Lacey Schaefer; his siblings, Paul Hetebrueg and Susan Hetebrueg; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Dohrwardt (Barb) and Willard Dohrwardt. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and in later years his great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr, West Bend, WI 53095). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the The Columbian (3245 Lighthouse Ln, West Bend, WI 53090). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (138 N 8th Ave, West Bend, WI 53095). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Augustine Cemetery (5479 County Rd Y, West Bend, WI 53095).
