He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Duenkel and Ruth Duenkel (Balthazor); his wife Marion Ferencevich; his brother Earl Frederick Duenkel; his stepdaughters, Annette and Rose; his siblings, Joe Ferencevich, Jr., Mark Ferencevich (Barbara), Joe Ferencevich (Marlene) and Barbara Kotlewski; his brothers-in-law, Tony Janicki and Tom Washington; and his nephew Shane Megonigle.
He is survived by: his son Duane Duenkel, Jr. (Susan); his granddaughter Kayla Duenkel; his siblings, William Duenkel (Linda) and Ruth Washington; his brother-in-law Edwin Kotlewski; and his nieces and nephews, LeAnn Megonigle, Dawn Hill (Jim), Cindy Metz (Jeff), Terri Megonigle, Marla Race (Dan), Kristin Finke (Devin), Joseph Ferencevich, Jr. (Jennifer), Andy Ferencevich (Jennifer), William Ferencevich, Mark Ferencevich, Jr., Michael Ferencevich (Kelly), Matthew Ferencevich, Kathy Zehren (Tom), Helen Ferencevich, Mitchell Ferencevich (Melissa), Marge Lesch, Bob Gessner (Terri), Teresa Fullerton (Tom), Laura Workowski (Stacey), John Duenkel (Jennifer Wiese), Charlie Duenkel, Joseph Janicki (Erica) and Erv Janicki. He is also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
