He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Schaefer; his daughter Lori; and his siblings, Rachel Schloemer, Charlotte Reindel, Darlene Nehrbass and Ron.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Leinfelder; his sons, Tom (Vicki) of Scottsdale, AZ and David of Hyde Park, NY; his grandchildren, Hilari (Grant) and Alexandre; his great grandchild Tommy; his sister Lori Dollhopf of Peshtigo; and his pet Hap. He is also survived by five step-children; ten step-grandchildren; many step-great-grandchildren.
