The passing of Dorothy A. Schuetz of West Bend, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Fabitz and Mary Irene Fabitz; her former husband Robert J. Blish; and her brothers, Thomas and John Fabitz.
She is survived by: her son Nicholas Robert (Dottie) of Greenfield, WI; her husband Richard Schuetz of West Bend, WI; her grandchildren, Oliver and Everly; her siblings, Christine Paape (Dave) and Daniel Fabitz (Cathy) of West Bend, WI; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Fabitz and Barb Glinecki. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces/nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Francis Cabrini Church (1025 S 7th Ave, West Bend, WI 53095). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Washington County Memorial Park (3358 W Paradise Dr, West Bend, WI 53095).
In honor of Dottie's strength as a breast cancer survivor, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Cancer Center at Froedtert West Bend Hospital.
