He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Smetana and Ann Smetana; his wife Dorothy; his stepmother Jean; and his brothers, Dennis and Tom Smetana.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Petrie (Doug) and Donna Roszak (Paul); and his grandchildren, Joseph, Lucas Roszak and Stephanie Turner (Jon). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research hospital are appreciated.
