He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Werner and Petronella "Pat" Werner; and his siblings-in-law, Courtland Sperger (Romona), Don Sperger (Shirley), Ray Gremminger and Erma Franke (Don).

He is survived by: his wife Mona Sperger; his son Dale (Patricia) of Gladstone, MI; his grandchildren, Andrea Yeary (Lucas) and Bradley (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Hudson, Henry Yeary, Cole and Nolan Werner; and his sisters-in-law, Ruby Stommel (Richard) of West Bend and Henrietta Gremminger of Kewaskum. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
