With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anthony Mathias Thelen of West Bend, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 18, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Thelen (Felten); his parents, Michael Thelen and Flora Thelen; his siblings, Norbert Thelen, Joseph Thelen (Mary Lou), Agnes Burns (John) and Adela Baumhardt; and his siblings-in-law, William Felten, Robert Felten and Marie Fellenz (Henry).
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Thelen (Scott Krahn), Dennis Thelen (Iva), Sandy Leitheiser (Tim) and Lisa Nieskes (Tim); his grandchildren, Matt Leitheiser (Katy Covert), Maggie Leitheiser (Trevor Blazei), Katherine Hecimovich (Michael), Jacob Leitheiser, Robert Thelen and Oscar Nieskes; his great grandchildren, Cameron and Daniel Hecimovich; and also, Judy Felten and Joyce Thelen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; as well as other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association or charities of one's choice are appreciated.
