He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy; his parents, William Zile and Marion Van Zile; and his sister Ruth Lange. He is survived by: his children, Beth, William (Kristine) and Frank Van Zile; his grandchildren, William, Thomas and Andrew; his siblings, Beverly Hanawalt (John), Judy Brennan (Robert), James Van Zile (Janet) and Polly Fuchs; and his brother-in-law Fred Fredrickson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Tripoli Transportation Fund and Shriners Hospital for Children appreciated.
