He was predeceased by: his father Robert Halverson; his uncle Tom Cline; and his grandmother Anna Cline. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Goetsch; his sons, Eric Halverson and Jeremy Halverson; his grandchildren, Kylie and Raina Halverson; his sister Karen Erhardt (Thomas Lee); his nephew Jeffrey Erhardt (Glee); his niece Jennifer Fuchsguber (Steven); and his aunt Lea Ann Wojta. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
