He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Nailen; his child Thomas Nailen; and his grandson Grant Nailen. He is survived by: his sons, Robert (Sasha) and Charles (Sharon); his grandchildren, Kristina Nailen (Joemar Flores), Juliana Nailen, Grace Nailen, Zoe Harris and Zach Harris; his great grandchild Yvania Flores; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Lamoree and Richard Schendel (Patricia). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Muscular Dystrophy Association and First United Methodist Church are appreciated.
