He was predeceased by: his spouse Verna M.; his child Thomas; and his siblings, Leonard Barbian, Wilfred Barbian (late Patricia), Raymond, Clifford (Patricia) and Joseph.

He is survived by: his children, Susan, Robert, Gerald, John, Peggy Gronowski (Bob) and Judy Duerrmeier (Bert); and his grandchildren, Jim, Meghan, Brittany, Rachael Barbian, Katie, Amber Gronowski, Tracey Lockwood (Daniel), Heidi and Allyssa Duerrmeier. He is also survived by 9 great, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
