She was predeceased by: her parent Michael Kies; her brothers, Michael Kies and David Kies; and her sister-in-law Jacklyn Kies. She is survived by: her parent Kathleen "Kitty" Kies; her sibling Thomas Kies (Mary); and her siblings-in-law, Viola, Janet and Doris Kies. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, 23 beloved great nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Michael S. and Kathleen A. Kies scholarship fund, Alverno College appreciated.
