He was predeceased by: his brother William Egner. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his sons, Christopher and Mark Egner; and his stepchildren, Karen Wrightsman (Steve), Kevin Schaack (Beth), Kris Stevenson (Jim), Katie Kohne (Brian) and Karol Primus (Dave). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association appreciated.
