He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Spidell and Rosemary Spidell; and his brother Richard Spidell. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughters, Susan Sprifke (Barry), Patricia Eklund (Mark), Vicki Glasnovich (Thomas), Mary Kay Spidell-Chan (Alan), Therese Jo Spidell and Barbara Meyer-Spidell; his siblings, Thomas Spidell (Carol) and Diane Wisch (Charles); and his sister-in-law Shirley Spidell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the family to be used for the advancement of medical research.
