He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores; and his children, Gerald and Cheryl. He is survived by: his children, James G. Welk (Deena) and Lynn Welk (Gary); his grandchildren, Jamie Larson (Mike), Michelle Sieracki (Jamie), Lori Heinz (Jared), Heidi Welk, Steve Welk (Whitney Baker), Raechel Liska, Ana Liska and Lizzie Liska; and his great grandchildren, Zoe, Kooper, Brandon, Kara and Hailey. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
