He is survived by: his children, David Kappes, Therese Hatch (David), Mark Kappes (Debbie), Joel Kappes (Tammy), Jonathan Kappes, Celeste Zembinski (Robert), Jason Kappes (Juanita) and Kenton Kappes (Debbie); his grandchildren, Ryan (Abby), Bret Hatch (Erin), Alicia Allen (Chase), Stephan (K. Lyn), Caitlin (Ricky Leon), Austin, Brittany (Jesse Matusek), Aaron, Boyd, Bryce, Tristian (Dahlia Cole), Nathan, Natasha Kappes (Adam Hessenthaler), Tara and Ethan Zembinski; his great grandchildren, Finn, Nora, Bree, Aliyah Hatch, Orion, Odessa Leon, Harmony, Apollos Kappes, Saoirse, Oona, Reuel Allen, Talan and Jade Matsuek; and his siblings, Paul, Verner, Carl, John Kappes (Carol), Elvira Angeletti (Richard), Carol Blair and Judy Paluszynski. He is also survived by many nieces, cousins, and many friends.
