He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Coates. He is survived by: his mother Jean Coates (Rambow); his wife Rita Thill; his daughters, Elizabeth (Terry Wick), Brenda (Chris Disori) and Erin (Dan Haessig); his grandchildren, Ashley, Connor, Logan, Marissa, Nathan, Reese, Dylan and Ciarra; his great grandchild Adelyn; his stepsons, Chad Lechman (Julie) and Jake Lechman (Paula); and his siblings, Gary (Jane), Mary and Diane. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
