He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hopkins and Dora Hopkins (Shear); his son Ken; his siblings, Charles, Dan and Alice; and his granddaughter Katrina.
He is survived by: his former wife Sylvia Sharp; his son Rod; his daughter-in-law Millie Mansfield (Golz); his wife Millie; his children, Roderick Hopkins (Judy) and Sherry Cadotte (Charlie); his daughter-in-law Lindi Hopkins; and his stepchildren, Larry Mansfield (Doreen), Diane Mansfield and Sandy Staples (Dan). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
