He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatryce Shaffer (Connor) and Clarence Shaffer; his sister Rosemarie Olson; and his nephew Mike. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Shaffer; his daughters, Tina Thorson (Jeff) and Sarah Shaffer (Kris); his grandchildren, Sarah, Riley and Cali; and his sister Patricia Lindquist (John). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
