She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Collins and Mildred Collins (Zellmer); her son David Ostwald; her brothers, Earl, Lloyd and Raymond Collins (Betty); and her son-in-law Bob Poortenga.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Poortenga of Waupun and Barbara Mirkes (James) of Brown Deer; her grandchildren, Ryan Poortenga (Melissa Whyte), Rhonda Roedl (Jim Grimes), Scott Mirkes, Eric Mirkes, Timothy Mirkes (Hannah Jaber), Kristin Van Helden (Ryan) and Jonathan Ostwald; her great grandchildren, Cassidy, Audrey and Elijah; her great great grandchildren, Kairi, Kennedi and Koda; her daughter-in-law Margot Brand; and her sister-in-law Elaine Collins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church, Omro.
