She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Ballhagen and Emmett Ballhagen; her husband Wayne Friel; her son David Friel; and her siblings, Maynard, Ronald, Shirley and Barbara.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Friel (Donna), Ronald Friel, Connie Krogstad and Jeff Friel; her sister Carol Friel; and her pets, Annie and Patch. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.
