She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bartosh and Florence Bartosh; her former husband Melvin Nielson; and her siblings, Alfred, Lloyd, Pete Bartosh, Doris Whitcomb and Beatrice Yankis.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Nelson Sr.; her children, Robert Alan Nelson Jr. and Susan Hughes; her sister Delores Lunsman; and her friend David Hall. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
