He was predeceased by: his parents, Henrietta "Dolly" (Klein) and Theodore "Ted" Spears; his sister Pam; and his brother-in-law David Lunsman. He is survived by: his wife Kelly Spears; his siblings, Sue Mendoza, Barb Davis (Claude), Brenda Spears and Terry Spears; his sons, Brandon Scott Spears and David Ross Spears (Sarah); his grandchildren, Bienna and Christian Spears; and his stepdaughter Amanda Taylor. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, along with many friends.
