He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stoffel and Marie Stoffel (Johnson); and his siblings, Jim, Sally and Geraldine.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Schoenecker; and his children, Beverly Whetstine (Brent), Carrie Stoffel and Amy Truss (Tom). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
