It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Violet Chunat of Wauzeka, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 8, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Wagner and Caroline Wagner (Harvat); her husband Lyle Chunat; her daughter Judy Hurda; her sisters, Mildred Fredenburg and Anna Quick; and her grandson John Peloch.
She is survived by: her daughters, Geri Gillitzer (Mike) and Joanne Peloch (Paul); her sister Lois Duha; and her son-in-law Larry Hurda. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 6 great great-grandchildren.
